Baby Gripe Tea

After discovering my 7 week old baby had being suffering from silent reflux for many weeks I started using Gaviscon. This worked initially but its effectiveness wore off then thankfully (I am much happier with a natural product) a naturopath put me onto ARTEMIS Baby Gripe tea. For the first week I tried to drink the tea 3-5 times a day and administer it to her when was in pain. When I gave it to her the relief was immediate as she would stop crying, settle and fall asleep. After a week we were no longer needing to give it to her and I was only needing to drink the tea 3 times a day. After 2 weeks we now have a happy, content, alert and interactive baby. I started giving my baby ARTEMIS Baby Gripe Tea when he was about 2 months old. Kyran had reflux and I didn't want to give him medicines to help it unless I really had to. My friend Amanda is a Naturopath and recommended that I try the ARTEMIS tea. I gave Kyran the tea 3 times a day after nursing (approx 10mls each time). I noticed a difference after a couple of days and within the month I stopped giving the tea to him because he wasn't showing any signs of reflux!

To those who think preparing the tea is a hassle, what I did was make up the tea as per the instructions, and then I froze it in ice cube trays. Every time I needed to give Kyran the tea, I would put a cube in a little bit of boiling water in a bottle and give it to him after it had melted. No sweat!!

Breastfeeding Tea

As a midwife I am always on the lookout for natural ways to support women during pregnancy & while breastfeeding. ARTEMIS Teas are a fabulous product. I started using ARTEMIS Breastfeeding Tea two weeks ago because I was concerned my breast milk was not enough for my little girl. Being my third child I had tried other products before and found varying results but none has been as good as ARTEMIS. My milk increased after 3 days of use and I know my little girl is getting a more consistent amount during the day. I also used the Tissue & Strain Repair Tincture for the last 6 weeks in my build up. All worked wonders. Now I head straight for the ARTEMIS range for any health concerns for myself and my customers.

Since I am drinking the ARTEMIS Cardio Care Tea I find that I have more stamina during my busy day. While I was exercising I found to have more aerobic capacity during a long bike ride or long walk in that I was not as tired near the end and in fact felt much less tiredness than when I did not drink the Cardio Care Tea. Interestingly I found that the results were better if I drunk the ARTEMIS Cardio Care Tea the night before I did the exercising. My husband has confirmed the same experience.

Having recently given birth I was prescribed antibiotics to clear a persistent infection. I brought the ARTEMIS Kidney Cleanse Tea to help support the removal of Kidney Stones. Since having the tea, I have had no reoccurring pain from the stones at all.

After the peaceful home birth of my first daughter I had real difficulty initiating breastfeeding. After 3 days of no latching success at all (resulting in a hungry, dehydrated baby and one very stressed out mother!) a lactation consultant diagnosed an unusual level of fluid retention through my breasts which was causing a great deal of engorgement but not from milk! I have been using the ARTEMIS Stress Relief Tea for the last 3 months with wonderful results. I have had ongoing depression for 16 years. I was initially nervous about trying this tea due to previous interactions between antidepressants and St John’s Wort. These interactions have had severe ongoing consequences for me. I had terrible eczema on both my hands several years before I discovered your cream. I had been using a steroid cream and that was working, but I wasn't keen on continuing to use it. I had also read that after a while the steroid cream stops working too. I tried a few natural remedies but none of them could stop the eczema from coming back. I was on a snowboard instructor training course in New Zealand and had been playing in the park on the mountain and hit the edge of the box smack bang on my coxyics. This fully enflamed my coxyics and caused an old injury to re-surface, so much that it disrupted my sleep It prevented me from sitting for any lengths of time. Medicated anti inflammatory and pain medication didn't touch it. Last week I bought your ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Tincture as I had a very painful hamstring/tendon injury. In my clinic work as an Aromatherapist I have found that applying the ARTEMIS herbal creams to particular areas before a full body massage to be very effective. One case that comes to mind was with a client who had a noticeable red, swollen area by her shoulder blade. I applied the ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Cream before a full body massage and then worked gently over the area with a blend of essential oils. When I had completed the massage I thought that I would apply another application of the ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Cream. When I went to apply it I was amazed to find that I was not able to visually see that area as I had at the beginning of the massage as the redness and swelling had gone. I applied the second application anyway, as I felt this appropriate. My client was pleased with how different her shoulder area felt.

Cinical Observation - As a physiotherapist in private practice, I have used Sandra Clair's ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Cream on my patients for over four years now, and have been most impressed by its efficacy. I used it initially on a patient with an inflamed supraspinatus tendon in the shoulder who was allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). I was pleasantly surprised when not only was there no allergic reaction to the cream, but it worked better in calming the inflammation than I would have expected topical Voltaren to. Since then I have used the ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Cream as a regular adjunct to manual physiotherapy techniques: I have never seen a skin or other allergic reaction to it. I have found it most useful in treating particularly inflamed structures, where I would want to add in something extra to actively counter the inflammatory part of the problem over and above just treating the mechanical aspect.
It has been especially useful in treating tennis and golfer's elbows, supraspinatus and Achilles tendonitis, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, and components of occupational overuse syndrome (OOS). Patients needing to continue with straining or stressful activities have found regular use of the cream highly effective for keeping things under control and not letting them build up to an acute flare of the problem area. I also use it regularly to ease the after-effects of manipulation or deep soft tissue massage or frictions.
My clinical impression is that the ARTEMIS Tissue Repair Cream gives results on strained, inflamed soft tissue problems as good as, and usually better than, the standard topical NSAIDs, and without any of the allergic reactions that can occur with these medications. I fully recommend it to practitioners and patients.

Vein Support Cream & Vein Support Tincture

I have recently brought your ARTEMIS Vein Support Cream and I think it is fantastic. I have been using it for 5 days and have started to see an improvement. I am now thinking of getting the ARTEMIS Vein Support Tincture as well. I have some varicose veins I would like to see improved before summer time when my stockings are coming off.

I wish to endorse a product I was recommended by one of the excellent people employed by Commonsense Organics in Paraparaumu. The product is ARTEMIS Vein Support Cream. I had a rather nasty haemorroid and thought I may have to go to the doctor. Fortunately I was in Commonsense and asked this lady if they had any remedies. I purchased the Vein Support Cream and applied it twice a day and continued with the application over a period of approximately 2-3 weeks, and it disappeared, so most impressed. I also sometimes have skins itches appearing and disappearing and nothing much seems to help. Although this product doesn't mention helping this type of problem, I tried one application and received immediate relief, so will continue to use the cream for this purpose.
